Details :
The anticipated period of employment will last 207 days or more. The employer guarantees to offer work for a total number of hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. The employer will provide workers at no charge all the tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period noted above, the employer will reimburse the worker for in-bound transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88p/day during travel to a maximum of $59p/day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). Lodging and transportation are available by the employer (this is optional) at the rate of$125 per
week for dormitory-style lodging and $100 per week for transportation to and from the worksite each day of employment from a designated pick-up location. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location in the Hattiesburg area. The Employer offers a minimum of 35 hours a week. Employees are paid weekly or bi-weekly. On the job training will be provided. Workers will be paid no less than $13.18 per hour. Hours vary in shifts from 9am-4pm or 4pm-11pm. Work on Saturday and Sunday might be required. Time in excess of 40 hours will be paid overtime, lawful rate ($19.77). A single work week (or biweekly) will be used to compute wages due for the specific period in which employees will be paid for.
